When you bought/buy a used car, did you follow the Kelly Blue Book guide? for the past months ive been searching for a used car and i noticed if i follow the Blue Book pirce guide, it's actually ALOT harder to find the "right" car. When i found the "right" car, the price is either too high or too low for the condition...according to the blue book. Just wondering, did any of you follow the Blue book guide? If you didnt follow the blue book, do you regret purchasing that car? If you did follow the book, is there any problem that has occured which made you feel you hadnt followed the guide? New car guide/help!? So I just bought a brand new car, Toyota Corolla S (not sport). It's blue, :) Anyways, I was just wondering, does anyone know if I should get mudguard/mudflap (not sure what's it call) for it? My dealer said my car is sport like so therefore it's lower, so with them it'll look silly and he also said it's unnecessary. Any idea if I should get it or not? I'm just worried about winter driving and rust... And what about the bottom of the car's rust... Anyway I could start controlling it before it do start rusting? Another thing is, is there anything I could do myself that'll keep my car shining? I saw on TV about Mr. Clean's car wash-thingy, forgot what's it call, but it makes the water act like marbles, just roll right off your car and you don't need to hand dry it. Any idea/tips is welcome!

Where can I find a free guide or video on how to install a subwoofer and amp in a car? I bought the amp and the sub brand new and they come with diagrams but I wanted an actual guide to show me what to install where, the tools I need. I also assumed they would come with wiring diagrams etc., but I guess since each amp and sub are different, they cant give you one set of generic installation instructions. Maybe there will be instructions when you buy an installation kit (assuming the buyer doesnt already have the necessary equiptment)

anyone know where i can find a maintenance guide for cars? I just got a new truck (well not new but 2003, very good shape) and i want to do everything i can to keep it going in the best condition possible untill i decide to sell and/or get another car. i know about oil changes and tire rotations etc etc. is there a guide out there that shows you everything as to what/when and how to maintain your vehicle for its longevity? and what to look for if you feel there is something wrong? ive learned some stuff about cars through experience so id really want to get as much info as possible for my future vehicles. its a 2003 toyota tacoma btw with only 17,000
