- Don't know about your particular machine but it should have an input switch somewhere that says something like "DVD/AV" or something like that to switch the input to the external jacks. It may also do it via the remote.
- 1. You hook up the gamecube to the TV, not to the DVD. The game cube has White,Red and Yellow plugs. Connect the three plugs to your TV's. When you turn on the gamecube with a game inside, gamecube sends video and audio signals to the TV's. 2. If you have a portable DVD player with a built-in screen, your DVD/screen player has to have three input plugs (white/red/yellow) where you will plug Gamecube's cables to them. Usually there is a buton to switch on to use the external video sources (from Gamecube, for example) and turn it off to play regular DVD. In this case, you don't need to have a DVD disk in the DVD to play the game cube.
- Plug them into the player no DVD in the player should be fine. I hope you don't plan on playing Zelda or Mario while you drive.
