How do I fix my Emerson Car DVD player?
Every DVD is a "bad disc"

- hi dave you probably have a dirty lens or a lens fault. if your like me and have discs scattered all over the car they collect fine fibres and dust up which adds to the problem of static when the unit sometimes comes to life. You could try buying a lens cleaner with the micro bristles on but i choose personally to take mine out remove the cover and clean with a small cotton bud which i dip in a cap of smirnoff vodka or rum. If that doesnt work the lens may be shot as ive been told they can burn out over years of use. Sorry if this aint no help, but its all i know
