how do i bypass the video lockout on an indash car dvd player.?

Video Lockout: For safety reasons, you cannot view a video source on the built-in monitor as long as the vehicle is in motion. In order to display video, the supplied yellow/blue wire must be hardwired into the vehicle's parking brake light circuit, and the vehicle's parking brake must be engaged.

  1. this is easy i did this with my car cut the wire that runs from your parking brake to your parking brake sensor, dont worry your parking brake will still work but the car wont sense if its on or off, in my car it was a green wire that was on the left side of my parking brake
  2. What part of "for safety reasons" don't you understand. CAUTION: Those who give information on how to defeat this feature are subject to prosecution if this person kills or injures someone while watching DVDs.
  3. You know what sparky I going to bug yahoo till people can not ask this question, I am getting sick of seeing it. Don't try what Thomas said to do its wrong. Don't disable safety features!!! You put every one a risk of getting hurt, and don't try and say its for your kids because they should be in the back seat with a DVD player where the driver can not see it, and your braking the law by having the TV going with out the parking on.
