My Burned DVD does not play DVD player in the car?

Even though, my burned dvd can be play on regular dvd player the burned dvd doesn not play in Dvd player in the car. Why is that?

1. All dvd players read dvd's with the same basic concepts but certain dvd players can read certain formats of dvd's. So what works in one dvd player may not work in another depending on the format of the burned dvd. Now with regular dvd's they work in all dvd players because that is the standard format.
2. there could be different reasons it could be the brand of the player or the disk, or maybe eve that certain player doesnt play those types of disks sry not more help 2 ya
