how can i put navigation in my existing car dvd/mp3 player? i heard that i could but i just dont know how HELP

- To help answer this question, it would be very useful to know what kind of DVD/MP3 player you have. ------------------ From what I can see, I don't think you can add navigation functions to that unit. Some manufacturers offer add-on navigation systems made specifically to work with the same brand in-dash A/V head unit. I don't see anything to suggest that such an option is available for yours, though. If you find a portable GPS unit with a video output jack, you might be able to link it to the in-dash unit so that the nav picture is on your screen. Of course, this would only work if the safety interlock is bypassed; and you wouldn't be able to control the GPS unit through your head unit, so there's not much point.
