My car remote control alarm is malfuntioning even after battery replacement, What do you think is the problem?
My car was equipped with a remote control alarm (Venom). After a year of installation the remote controller became erratic, sometimes functioning sometimes not, sometimes I went around the car to get the right position before it works, until it malfunctioned totally. I try to replace the battery but to no avail. Thinking the remote controller already broke down, I decided to use the spare, and for more than a year I have no problem using it. However, since last week, I encounter similar problem with the first. Was it a problem with the remote controller or the car alarm unit itself? or the transmitter? Please help...thanks.

- Maybe the problem is with the pairing i mean the serial n.o between the remote and the car if u open the remote inside you can see 6 digits n.o that n.o should be same as the n.o in the remote system inside the car check your user manual to know where it is located in the car and then you can open it and check the same n.o is there it will 100% work if the remote ok
- Most likely a damaged key fob(remote). But may just be that it just needs to be relearned. factory alarm systems Aftermarket, most likely fob also but common alarm system is failing
